Everything public on Title Sales, the listings, the Ready Buyer List, guides, calculators and the pricing, is open without an account. You create one when you want to take part: list a property, message an owner or buyer, save properties, or post a buyer brief. Here is how it works and why it is built this way.
Enter your first and last name, your email address, a password of your choosing, and your verified mobile number. We then email a 6-digit code to that address; entering it verifies your email and opens your membership on the spot. You are identified around the site by your first name and a member number, so your surname and email are never shown to other members.
Title Sales signs you in with your password or with a 6-digit code emailed to you, whichever you prefer on the day. Each code works once and expires quickly, so the code path requires access to your inbox at that moment: your account is protected by the same thing that protects most of your digital life already, your email account.
If you ever forget the password, the emailed code still signs you in and lets you set a new one from My Profile, so there is nothing to recover and no reset ceremony. Password and code attempts are both limited to protect your account from guessing.
Because your inbox is the key, protect the email account you use here the way you would protect a bank login: a strong password unique to it and two-factor authentication turned on with your email provider. Never share a sign-in code with anyone, for any reason; a shared code is a handed-over key. If you use a shared or public computer, sign out when you finish.
Title Sales will never ask for your password or a verification code by phone, message or email. Anyone doing so is not us: do not respond, and report it. The same golden rule from our guides applies to money: payments between buyers and sellers never travel through Title Sales conversations, and deposits belong only in a conveyancer’s or solicitor’s trust account.
Your email address is verified the first time you sign in, which earns the email badge on your profile. You can add a verified phone number for the phone badge, which buyers and sellers read as a sign of a serious counterpart.
