We take reports about members seriously. Every report is reviewed by our admins, and where a report is substantiated we act, from a warning or content removal through to suspension of the account. If an admin suspends an account, that decision is final unless the member provides reasonable proof to the admin that the account should be reinstated; reinstatement requests and any supporting evidence can be raised through the suspension discussion on the member’s account or by email to complaints@titlesales.com.au.
A serious breach, or a serious attempted breach, may result in a permanent ban from Title Sales. Serious breaches include: acting as a real estate agent or buyer’s agent while declaring otherwise; scams or fraud of any kind, including fake listings, deposit or payment lures, and redirecting payments; impersonating another person or entity, or operating under a false identity; listing a property without the right to sell it; harvesting or attempting to harvest members’ contact details; harassment, threats or abuse toward any member or our team; attempting to move payments or negotiations off-platform in a way designed to defeat the protections described on this site; creating new accounts to get around a suspension or ban; and knowingly making repeated false reports.
False reports harm real members and waste the time that should protect them. A member who makes multiple false or bad-faith reports against another member may themselves be suspended.
New listings and images pass automated checks for prohibited content. Every listing carries a report control, any user can be blocked once conversations launch, and reports are reviewed by a person. We aim to action reports of dangerous or fraudulent content within 1 business day and all other reports within 3 business days.
Depending on severity and history: correcting or unpublishing content, requiring substantiation before republication, formal warnings, suspension, permanent termination, and reporting to police or regulators. Content that is unlawful, fraudulent or dangerous is removed immediately on discovery.
If your account is suspended you will see the reason in the app and can reply there directly; that conversation is reviewed by a person. For content removals, or if you prefer email, write to complaints@titlesales.com.au within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by a person not involved in the original decision, with a response within 7 business days, and content is reinstated where the decision was mistaken.
In the apps, report controls are available on user-generated content and objectionable content reports are prioritised and reviewed first, within 1 business day. Challenged reviews and all one-star reviews queue for human decision with the same tools: removal where these policies are breached, and account suspension for misuse. Our published contact for content concerns is hello@titlesales.com.au. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
